My story
I come from an academic research background, having completed a PhD from University College London in Biological Archaeology in 2019. As such I am at home surrounded by huge data sets and statistics. Since graduating I have worked in executive search as a researcher before joining the data and insights team at Savannah as a Business Research Analyst. My academic research was focused on incorporating numerous data points as a means of understanding human behaviour, which is surprisingly similar to my current role, it has just been a case of shifting perspective a few thousand years and working with living people – making for much better conversation!
My focus
As a member of the data and insights team we work on a wide range of projects in collaboration with various functional and sector practices. Utilizing my academic research experience I work on all stages of a project from research design, data collection, analytics, and finally data presentation.
My motivation
I enjoy the combination of creativity and analytical skills that are needed in my role. As a growing practice within Savannah, and with each of our projects tailored to the specific needs of our clients we are constantly challenging our approaches and expanding our range, as such no two projects nor days are the same.
Why I like working at Savannah
It really is the people that make Savannah, the culture here is welcoming and inclusive, with all the benefits of working within a team and the support and development opportunities that comes with that, while also acknowledging and valuing individual approaches and needs.
