Craig joined Savannah in September 2019, starting on the graduate training programme. He spent his first year in the company rotating between four practices, starting in the Board Practice and now supports the business across all practices.
I graduated from the University of Bath in July 2019 where I studied International Management and Spanish with a year abroad. During my year abroad in South America, I studied Business at the University of San Andrés in Buenos Aires, Argentina and worked for BusinessHub Consultants in Santiago, Chile.
At BusinessHub Consultants, I was a Market Analyst and searched for South American business partners for European and North American SMEs to export their products to. This involved organising and attending meetings between clients and potential South American business partners, organising trade missions and carrying out market analyses. During the placement, I worked predominantly in Industrial, Retail and IT sectors.
I applied to the Savannah Group graduate programme because it relates strongly to my university degree specialism of change management and leadership. For me, there is no better way of learning about these topics than speaking with leaders who implement change on a day-to-day basis.
During the graduate scheme I worked in the Board & CEO and Industrial Practices and now support the business across all practices.
My motivation stems from my curiosity about leadership and change management. Interacting with industry leaders is a privilege that I wholeheartedly enjoy.
Savannah Group operates very cohesively across a variety of functions and sectors. This is important for my interest in understanding how change agents adapt their leadership style and management methods to the industry they find themselves in.
Why I like working at Savannah
Savannah has a great workplace culture and is highly collaborative. It is a great place to learn from others regardless of which Practice or department they work in.
