My story
I started my career in search with Odgers during a period of rapid growth in the industry, working in the private and public sectors. Subsequently I have spent time at Redgrave, Norman Broadbent, and in a couple of boutiques. Immediately prior to joining Savannah I worked as part of an investor-backed startup, leading on the talent agenda for a number of nascent technology businesses, and working externally with a mix of national and international companies.
My focus
I joined Savannah to help our clients secure the best tech talent in the market and to build our footprint across the broader technology sector, leveraging a diverse track record and a personal interest in many forms of technology and how it is used to tackle global issues and improve lives.
My motivation
I have been fortunate to work with a huge range of organisations in my career, from tech startups, FTSE350 companies, AIM-listed businesses, through to membership organisations, sporting bodies, government departments and a mix of international corporates. For clients, hiring the right people is critical for the continued success or transformation of any business; for candidates, making the right career move and joining a business that offers the right challenges and opportunity to develop is key to realising individual potential. Finding the balance between these two positions is rarely straightforward, but when an optimum outcome is achieved for both sides, the hard work is worth it.
Why I like working at Savannah
Savannah is a values-driven business, putting people and wellbeing ahead of many of its competitors. The internal support and the emphasis it places on going the extra mile extends to the work it does with its clients, and the way it engages and communicates with candidates.
