I am an entrepreneurial and culturally aware talent advisor with significant international experience within multiple industry sectors. My initial career as a marine engineer was interesting but not satisfying enough. An MBA and a career transition discussion got me into retained executive search work, back in 2003.
Since then, I have built a diverse set of experiences that include stints with retained leadership advisory firms, blue-chip global corporations, start-ups and setting up my own consultancy.
My journey so far has been extremely rewarding and has helped me solve a variety of challenging organisational problems, facilitate meaningful career transitions, build long term relationships, and learn along the way. I have engaged with stakeholders at all levels, across regions, managed teams, run a regional P&L and have been able to influence thinking and decision making on leadership hiring and development.
I am a member of the firm’s industrial practice with a focus on energy, natural resources, and sustainability.
Within these areas, I have partnered with clients operating in the traditional energy markets, clean energy, energy transition, mining, marine and broader industrials, supporting them to align on talent requirements at the leadership level and help build diverse and effective leadership teams.
I will also collaborate with my colleagues in other practices and service groups to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
My main motivations are solving organisational problems for my clients and learning and sharing knowledge along the way. I thoroughly enjoy building relationships and get a high level of satisfaction and happiness in facilitating purposeful career transitions for executives. My key focus areas have huge role to play in solving some the world’s most challenging problems of climate change and decarbonisation.
Why I like working at Savannah
I can talk about what attracted me to Savannah. The consultative and advisory approach, a progressive growth strategy and focus on technology in helping clients build truly diverse senior leadership teams impressed me. Most importantly, I felt that the organisational culture, cantered around collaboration and authenticity, resonated with my personality and how I would like work with colleagues.
