I graduated from Durham University in 2016 with a BA in French and Russian. During my time at university, I spent my summer breaks interning at what was then Boyden and fell in love with the business and its people. After graduating, I moved to St. Petersburg, Russia, where I spent 5 years working as an English teacher for students of all ages and gained a huge amount of language and life experience.
I decided to move back to my hometown and had only one place in mind when looking for a career move: Savannah. The time, effort and detail Savannah puts into every search, the breadth of knowledge that the people have and the distinct feeling of community that radiates throughout the office made me want to return and be a part of it in a significant way.
Initially trained as an Interim Generalist, I have a specific focus on Technology & Digital helping to source candidates for a multitude of Senior Technology leadership roles across varying sectors. In addition, as part of our ongoing mission to ensure that all our candidates have a great experience of Savannah, I am also responsible for our Technology Candidate Community.
My main reasoning for joining the world of Executive Search is the people. I am naturally curious and want to learn as much as I can at this early stage so that I can deliver the best outcome for all involved. Taking the time to really get to know the client and candidate and their needs as well as predicting what they might be looking for in the future is how I want to make an impact.
Why I like working at Savannah
The sense of community that is evident throughout Savannah is the best part of the job. The approachability of every individual within the company makes it a very nice place to be. Moreover, working and collaborating with industry leaders who genuinely want to impart their knowledge and expertise with me is the perfect opportunity to learn and grow in this industry.
