My story
After graduating in 2017 with a degree in French and Spanish, I spent a year in Berlin working at a law firm. I then moved back to London where I joined a growing expert network company, initially working on research projects for consulting clients before taking responsibility for private equity clients. Prior to Savannah, I worked for a boutique corporate research company, focusing on due diligence and compliance research. This involved in-depth desk research of companies and executives as well as conducting interviews with relevant sources to gain an in-depth understanding of the subject. In both roles, I was working across industries and enjoyed the variety of constantly learning about new areas – something which my role at Savannah also provides.
My focus
As part of the Data and Insights team I work on a wide range of projects across sectors and geographies. I am involved in all stages of the projects from planning through to research and presentation of insights. As an evolving practice, no two projects are ever the same, so this requires flexibility and creativity to provide the best outcomes possible.
My motivation
I hugely enjoy the challenge of learning about new sectors and functions which many of our projects present. The opportunity to look at how organisations construct themselves or the paths people follow into different careers, for example, also fits well into my more analytical side. Overall, being able to support clients in resolving talent questions and aiding their decision-making process is something I find very satisfying.
Why I like working at Savannah
The culture at Savannah is highly collaborative and supportive which makes it a genuinely enjoyable and rewarding place to work. There are always opportunities to learn from others whether within your own practice or another part of the business and this allows us all to grow individually and as an organisation.
