After studying Chinese and Spanish at the University of Leeds, I began my career as a researcher with a focus on retail and consumer executive search. I have enjoyed gaining a breadth of experience at a range of businesses, including one of the big US search firms and a leading retail boutique, where I have delivered assignments in the UK and internationally. I also sat on the other side of the fence for a couple of years as the internal head-hunter at a large UK retailer, during a turbulent period of turnaround and transformation.
The clients I have worked with over the years have been varied in sector: multichannel retail, consumer services, insurance and technology and I have delivered senior level searches across a wide spectrum of functions. What all those organisations had in common was the pursuit of a change and transformation agenda; whether that be due to new ownership, leadership, or the need to accelerate growth. It is clearer now than ever that all of that change is being driven by rapid developments in technology.
I’m excited to be working on a range of technology and digital leadership searches across a variety of industries, during a time of fast-moving progress in skillsets and roles. My focus is to ensure we secure the best available talent for our clients and follow a rigorous search process, building long-term relationships with our candidates and exceeding client expectations.
