Kersty is the lead partner in our Technology and Digital practice. She works closely with technology leaders, and non-technical executives to help deliver varied people centered talent solutions for the evolving business landscape. She works across FTSE, PE, Fortune 500 AIM, TSX and SMEs globally. She is a passionate advocate for Diversity and Inclusion within technology and in helping organisations bring digitally savvy NEDs and advisors into their business.
I began my career in recruitment quite by chance after graduating with an MBA from the University of Leeds. I started within the civil and structural engineering sector but quickly moved over into technology where I have been helping businesses find the right leaders for the past 14 years. My focus for the last 13 years has specifically been technology leadership; I love technology – not for its own sake, but for what it can do for businesses, people and society.
Having spent the majority of my career focusing on executive search, I have taken the opportunity at Savannah to focus on providing senior Interim Managers within digital, cyber and technology for change and transformation projects. I place interim CIOs and technology leaders across all sectors and industries.
I love finding creative solutions for clients. I am passionate about what I do, and particularly enjoy partnering with the client to understand them and their business while building strong relationships with my community.
I thrive on helping clients solve their problems and believe that there are better ways for recruitment to serve our clients. People are our business and technology is there to make us and society better.
I am personally interested in business leadership and understanding why in some scenarios teams are successful but in others they don’t deliver. As a consultant, my aim is to help organisations create teams that will help them deliver against the demands of the business as well as holding its hand as the business goes through significant technological and cultural transformations. To that extent, I am also keenly interested in the leadership lessons and insight we can take from high-pressure, non-business environments like professional sport and apply to the workplace.
